The planned programme for the 17 October can be found here. Attendance is free, Although the pre-registration is required (form available under the program).
This Conference aims to address one of the realities that the members of this task force have confirmed on the need to adapt to the growing demand for wood industry, by today's society, high-tech wood products that respond to new business models. The satisfaction of that need passes, inevitably, to establish a model of symbiotic relationship between managers/producers and processing industry, If you want to increase the competitiveness of these industries and improve the positioning in markets with high added value.
The achievement of a good product demanded by the final consumer has to boot from management in the Mount of the raw, for it is necessary to standardize /modelizar / formalize a forest planning (and tools to carry out) that it is intended to improve not only yields, but the quality of the wood. The Taskforce SiGCa work will be developed with an eye toward that goal.
