During this annuity 2016, will take place the 5th Edition of the Conference Ibero-American protection of timber still on this occasion the host country elected Uruguay, that will host of the 4 al 7 from December to the industrial community, Scientific and academic related deterioration and the protection of the wood around the world.

This Congress, in which, The National Association of companies of timber protection (ANEPROMA), Act as sponsor together with other entities that develop their activities in the field of the treatment and protection of wood, It has been organized by the Ibero-American network of wood protection (RIPMA), The University of the Republic of Uruguay (Tacuarembó headquarters) and the Centre of research and development of the timber industry and related industries(INTI wood and furniture of Argentina) and it counted with the presence of scientists, entrepreneurs and professionals with a long history which acted as speakers in the talks, conferences and courses organized within the framework of the Congress.

Also, It will be a forum for discussion and exhibition, is where you can, not only attend a multitude of papers on wood protection, and consider comparative intra and inter – sectoral, but that also, participating industries will exhibit their products and conduct demonstrations, in the enabled stands space which will be held at the same time, specialized workshops.

• Biology of wood degradation. Microbiology.
• Developments in technology in wood protection processes and methodologies
