SUCCESSFUL exploitation of the 1st course of recovery of infrastructure PECURIAS in ALMODOVAR's field (CIUDAD REAL)

The past 5 of May ended the first course of "Rehabilitation and construction with wood for the recovery of livestock infrastructures" developed by ANEPROMA in the municipality of Almodóvar del Campo (Ciudad Real), with a load of 50 h, rush during 10 Conference, Since the 23 April to the 5 may, day in which some profitable practices were carried out in which the students could apply in a real way the knowledge acquired.

This initiative, unprecedented at the national level, has allowed the transfer of the necessary knowledge to proceed with total guarantee of success to the inspection, intervention and rehabilitation of all construction with wood, focusing specifically on those linked to the rural world and agricultural orientation. The students wereCurso formacion FP1 composed of 25 workers in the province of Ciudad Real, which they described as "very profitable, useful and appropriate" the development of the same, highlighting that thanks to it they had "a greater and more solid knowledge of the particular problems of constructions with wood, as well as greater resources that will provide us with, with total security, a better and more professional methodology of action". The training action already carried out is part of the project "The Recovery of Traditions with a Future" that ANEPROMA through the PROGRAM EMPLEAVERDE (2007-2013) of the BIODIVERSITY FOUNDATION  attached to the MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE, FOOD AND ENVIRONMENT, and co-financed by the EUROPEAN SOCIAL FUND is developing.

The course has allowed workers to acquire concepts linked to the construction and rehabilitation of wooden infrastructures, starting with the study of wood material, of great tradition in its use and that, paradoxically, has become a great unknown to many professional groups. The areas of recovery of existing heritage have been developed with special interest through the detailed explanation of inspection measures, treatment and consolidation of damaged elements, as well as the necessary regulations for the intervention and use of wood in construction.

The course ended with the practical exit to two works made of wood; a new construction and an existing construction, both linked to the livestock – rural world, in which thecurso formacion FP1 students received a concise explanation of the actions to be carried out to ensure proper maintenance, the construction techniques used, as well as the phases in which a rehabilitation intervention should be developed. In the case of livestock aprisco, was deepened in the explanation of the particularities of the construction systems.

Thanks to the co-financing received by the European Social Fund, both the development of the course and all the materials delivered to the satisfied students have been totally free for them.
