START PROGRAMMING COURSES 2011 OF ANEPROMA OF “PROTECTORS OF THE WOODEN APPLICATOR”

The qualifications of the professionals of the wood treatment sector is mandatory. Madrid and Marbella, the first calls of 2011.

The publication of the Royal Decree 830/2010, by establishing the rules governing the training to perform treatments with biocidal products starting from the 15 July of 2010, makes the professional qualification of all professionals whose activity is the protection of wood through the use of biocidal products mandatory, I mean, the so-called TP wood protectors 8: "Products used for the protection of wood, from the sawmill phase inclusive, or wood products, by controlling organisms that destroy or alter wood".

Two levels of qualification
Depending on the responsibilities of professionals in the sector, two types of qualification are distinguished: a basic one called applicator of 25 hours training, intended for personnel who carry out biocidal treatments in a preventive or curative manner, and another 80 hours for the qualification of Responsible, that will be necessary for all companies, since they are responsible for the treatments, management and use of biocidal products.

The Training Department of ANEPROMA – National Association of Wood Protection Companies- Organizes, manages and teaches courses of Applicator of Wood Protectors" in the two modalities: applicator and technical manager.

Two first dates in 2011: Madrid and Marbella

The first course of 2011 will take place in Madrid, is scheduled to 13 from January to 5 February, and in it will be taught the discipline of Applicator of Wood Protectors, in the modality of Technical Manager (80 hours), on Thursday 15:00 to 21:00 h., Friday 15:00 to 21:00 h. and Saturdays of 8:00 to 14:00 h. and 15:00 to 17:00 h. The course will be held at the headquarters of DOTA FORMACIÓN, located on García Noblejas Street 41, in Madrid, in collaboration with the Madrid Association of Disinfection Companies, AMED. The course is recognized by the Ministry of Health of the Community of Madrid, and allows obtaining accreditation for the use and handling of biocidal products for wood at the level of Technical Manager as indicated by the Royal Decree 830/2010.
 
The second course will be based in Marbella, in collaboration with the Health Delegation of Marbella City Council. It will be celebrated of the day 31 from January to 11 February's 2011, in format from Monday to Thursday of 9:00 to 14:00 h. and 15:00 to 18:00 h., Fridays 8:00 to 14:00 h. and 15:00 to 17:00 h. With a total duration of 80 hours, entitles you to certification as a technical manager. The course is recognized by the Ministry of Health of the Junta de Andalucía, and allows obtaining accreditation for the use and handling of biocidal products for wood at the level of Technical Manager as indicated by the Royal Decree 830/2010.

Objective and responsibility of ANEPROMA

From the year 2004 ANEPROMA, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, has allowed that at present it has been possible to publish the aforementioned Royal Decree, which recognizes for the first time in Spain a specific profession linked to the treatment of wood, because there are characteristic organisms that attack wood, and biocidal products indicated for protection.

ANEPROMA has been the first body that since the year 2008 began to provide the training of these courses. The first was in Madrid, followed in the year 2009 of Azpeitia (Guipúzcoa), and continuing in 2010 after the approval of the Royal Decree in different Autonomous Communities.
