BEGINS THE CYCLE OF TECHNICAL CONFERENCES THAT ANEPROMA WILL CARRY OUT IN THE REGION OF VALLE DE ALCUDIA AND SIERRA MADRONA

ANEPROMA through the PROGRAM EMPLEAVERDE (2007-2013) of THE BIODIVERSITY FOUNDATION  attached to the MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE, FOOD AND ENVIRONMENT, and co-financed by the EUROPEAN SOCIAL FUND, starts a cycle of technical conferences, totally free, focused on informing workers and entrepreneurs in the region of Valle de Alcudia and Sierra Madrona about the need to recover traditional practices, as transhumance, extensive livestock and hunting activity, through the knowledge of the rehabilitation of infrastructures linked to the livestock and hunting world.

Paisaje Valle AlcudiaThe first day under the title "The Recovery and Conservation of Grazing and its Infrastructures in the Alcudia Valley" will take place in Almodóvar del Campo (Ciudad Real) on Tuesday 17 April of 2012, in the afternoon of 15:15 h a 20:45 h, in the Municipal Theater of that town.

This day aims to inform about the current state and potential of the extensive livestock farming in the Alcudia Valley, as well as the use del livestock As tool against forest fires and other innovative management techniques, linked to the present agri-environmental policies and the advantages that this will entail for the progress of livestock in the region.

paisaje Valle AlcudiaThe second day, named "The Recovery and Conservation of Grazing, hunting activities and their infrastructures in Sierra Madrona"", will be held in the municipality of Fuencaliente (Ciudad Real), Wednesday 18 April of 2012, in the afternoon of 15:15 h a 20:45 h in the Multipurpose Center of that municipality.

This day will be focused on the animal husbandry and the hunting activity, for being an area with a high tradition in the management of hunting grounds. To do so, presentations will be made on agri-environmental measures for the conservation of natural heritage of specific application in Sierra Madrona, sustainable hunting management and innovation in the territorial management of the region.
