ENDS WITH OPTIMUM USE THE COURSE AIMED AT PROFESSIONALS OF THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR
The past 18 of June ended the first course of "Sustainable techniques and methodologies for livestock. Agri-environmental measures" developed by ANEPROMA in the municipality of Mestanza (Ciudad Real), with a load of 50 h, rush during 10 Conference, Since the 1 al 18 June, that alternated the theoretical presentations, its practical application through the realization of practical assumptions, as well as numerous activities of active participation of students.
This initiative, consequence of the project developed by ANEPROMA in the Alcudia Valley, has allowed the transfer of the knowledge necessary to proceed, under more efficient practices of pastoral use, to the activity of extensive livestock.
Like this, During the development of the action, concepts of management have been exposed, Use and improvement of natural and artificial pastures, Special emphasis has been placed on the need to provide the ecosystem formed by the dehesa with true sustainability in the medium to long term through its forced tree regeneration, Attendees have been introduced to the concepts of organic agricultural production, as a means of achieving high quality products with minimal environmental and social impact, Students have been introduced to the new uses that livestock herds constitute in other parts of the national territory, as its use to make a good forestry defense against forest fires, and have been instructed in their own techniques to improve the profitability of their farms, as a way to ensure truly sustainable rural development, by improving the marketing of their productions.
The students were composed of workers who exercise the activity
pastoral in the province of Ciudad Real, in which opinion the course was very useful, Well, despite the fact that "...In this profession you learn by doing, initiatives such as the one that ANEPROMA is carrying out are always necessary, for, through training, Always be at an adequate level of adaptability to extremely changing times...".
