CONCESSIONARY ANEPROMA PROJECT FOUNDATION BIODIVERSITY

ANEPROMA And THE BIODIVERSITY FOUNDATION AN AGREEMENT IS SIGNED TO DEVELOP AN INNOVATIVE PROJECT TO PROMOTE THE USE OF WOOD IN THE REHABILITATION OF INFRASTRUCTURES.

Through the Program empleaverde The Biodiversity Foundation Supports 61 projects aimed at the improvement of employment and the environment more worth of 6 million euros.

At the headquarters of the Biodiversity Foundation on the day 25 in October, the first collaboration agreements were signed with the beneficiary entities, among them ANEPROMA.

• The business sector, professional and trade union; foundations; NGOs and associations, and the academic sector will launch training and job revitalization actions, towards a new model of economic growth.
The director of the Biodiversity Foundation (FB), public foundation of the Government of Spain, dependent on the Ministry of Environment, and Rural and Marine Environment, Ana Leiva, started from the 25 of October in Madrid the signature of the 61 collaboration agreements for the development of projects that will promote employment and good environmental practices, within the framework of the Empleaverde Programme.
They are launched, thus, 61 projects —with a total investment of 6,2 million euros— as part of empleaverde, a FB initiative to improve employment and the environment, which is co-financed through the European Social Fund (ESF). 
The selected initiatives aim to generate and improve employment by increasing the skills and qualifications of workers and supporting the creation and modernisation of enterprises. In all cases, the sustainability of economic activities is promoted.
Aid to 61 projects that are launched during 2011 have been awarded to entities in the business sector, professional and trade union, to foundations, NGOs and associations and academia.
The beneficiary entities act in 15 Autonomous Communities; Including, Madrid, Andalusia, Extremadura, Catalonia, Murcia, Galicia, the Valencian Community, Castilla León, Castile-La Mancha, Asturias, Ceuta, Canary Islands, La Rioja, Navarre and the Basque Country.
The projects target economic sectors such as agriculture (production, forest, the fishing, that of energies, the environmental sector, sustainable rural development and in protected areas and biosphere reserves, sustainable tourism and the rehabilitation and building sector.

For example, This project aims to adequately train workers of SMEs and the self-employed for the habilitation of new infrastructures and rehabilitation of existing ones that allow, through the use of wood, the use of pastures that grow in areas that, today, they are not exploited, due to the lack of them.

The Program empleaverde has been set as goals, for the period 2007-2013, those to support more than 50.000 people and encourage the creation of 1.000 companies in the environmental sector. For this, it has a total endowment of 44,1 million euros, of which the European Social Fund co-finances between the 50% or the 80% of projects, depending on the regions in which they are developed.
